Book it to Brooks Reading Adventure 2024
The reading adventure “Book it to Brooks”, organized by CCAV成人头条’s dedicated Teacher-Librarians is an initiative that encourages Grade 6 and 7 students within the district to read more diverse books in preparation for their transition to Brooks Secondary. The initiative ran from January-April this year, and last week, over 75 students from across the district came together to celebrate their reading adventure. Students participated in various book related activities, had rich conversations, met fellow readers from other schools, and got the opportunity to get to know Mr. Edwards, the Brooks Teacher-Librarian, and the Brooks Learning Commons space.
Thank you to the Teacher-Librarians, Ms. Nordman, Ms. Brander, Ms. Zaikow, Ms. Caldarone, Mr. Edwards, Ms. Adam, and Ms. Dao for creating such a wonderful and memorable experience for our students!
